In Search of the Perfect Online Service

I spent much of my free time this evening checking out online services where I could make a website for my produsage assignment. My goal is to create a website where I can post some content, add some pictures and links to other websites as resources. As part of this process I created a Facebook account and attempted to manipulate its applications to create a webpage where I could advertise a service. I reviewed tutorials on how to set up a facebook account on youtube but they turned out to be too general for my purposes. Next, I created an edublogs.org account to see how I might be able to manipulate their pages, but the site still looked like a blog page, leaving me dissatisfied with the end result. I was thinking of creating another blogspot account to see if I can create a proper website there, but blog pages are so 1.0. I am avoiding wikis for now because I intend to use a wiki for my second assignment. So I will plan to review some more of the Facebook applications for a suitable one that may be useful for my needs...
